Dew on a Bleeding Heart Leaf
Posted By: Bactman, 06-02-2008, 10:07 AM

I tried capturing dew on the leaf of a Bleeding Heart a few weeks ago, and this was one of the better shots. I would appreciate some critique: I don't know if the lower right corner should be cropped due to the depth of field being so shallow. Any tips, especially using extension tubes, would really be appreciated!

Thanks for looking and the pointers!!!

Nice image. Very clear and sharp. Love the B&W conversion.
I actually like the fact that the lower right part is out of focus. It looks as if the drop is on its way "down the drain", so to speak. However, I find the noise in the out-of-focus area somewhat distracting. But I suspect that it might be artefacts from resizing the image.

Can't really give you any advice, as it looks like you are already superior to me
