Kyoto JR train station - abtracts
Posted By: kuuan, 06-03-2008, 06:51 AM

The new JRrailway station on Kyoto, Japan, due to it's architecture,
has become a tourist attraction:

Pentax *istDS, Sigma 17-70mm, 1/320sec, f5.6, ISO200 @17mm

and it allows for some nice shooting:

Pentax *istDS, Sigma 17-70mm, 1/100sec, f5.6, ISO200 @f19mm

even quite abstract looking ones:

Pentax *istDS, Sigma 17-70mm, 1/50sec, f5.6, ISO200 @f34mm

cheers,
Andreas

Mind-boggling structure. It is a bit overkill, though.

Your Sigma fringes at the edges.

oh, good observation, noticed it only on the left top corner on the first only after your remark!
how best to get rid of it?

I had not even noticed it yet as I have the lens only since a few days and I am quite new to the world of dSLR. It's my only AF lens, mostly I use old M42 Takumars.
( If interested in images taken with the manual lenses please see them here: Collection: manual focus lenses I'd be very interested what you think about them resp. if you find faults there as well )

thank's
Andreas
