A fishing hut perhaps? From the bridge at Invermoriston I believe.

Indeed it is, certainly not easy to access the water from anywhere nearby, unless of course you fall.

Beautiful area! Would be interesting to know what that hut's purpose was; it looks very well built.

Nothing on Google that I could see on a quick search, I'll ask some of the locals next time I'm that way.

There's a very similar one above the mill falls pool on the River Aray at Inveraray. The purpose of that was dual. It was a 'summerhouse' for meditative appreciation of the beauty of the falls. It was also a lookout post for ghillies to spot Salmon starting to attempt to climb the falls. If they were spotted then a message would be sent to the Duke (or guests) that it was worth getting out with a rod and line.
