A Beautiful Day to Fish
Lens: DA 18-55 WR Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Weeks Bay, AL ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F10

Here is a picture I took as I was getting on the boat for a fishing trip during spring break last week. It was a really pretty morning, unfortunately the fish didn't cooperate!

Thanks, Rimfiredude! I try to go out there a few times a year with a guy that my family hires as a charter guide. It is normally great fun.

Beautiful... And the worst day fishing beats the best day working!

This was my K3 with the DA 18-55WR on it. I don't remember if I had the HOYA CPL attached or not. Judging by the water and cloud detail, I'm going to say that I had that on as well.

Thanks! I've been messing with digital media and have been thinking about getting some toys. 😎 keep up the good work.

thanks! And if you don't have digital yet, I can personally recommend the Kx as a starter and the k3 for a full featured body.

Heh, I can tell what my goal has been lately - I thought he was asking about fishing gear not camera...

Oh, if you were referring to fishing gear, it was whatever spinning reel/rod combos my charter guide had, fishing a cork about 6 inches from the bottom.
