A Gull Named Dorian Gray?
Lens: DA 44-300 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Shy Pond ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/750s Aperture: F11

Like most scientists, I love symmetry - which prompted me to take a shot of this gull producing a mirror image in shallow water. While the flesh-and-blood bird is none-too-attractive, the reflection appears decayed and cadaverous thus reminding me of the classic story.

The real bird looks asleep, but the reflection is awake. A lovely touch.
