My First Macro!
Lens: Pentax A-50 Macro Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Woods of Otis -Texas ISO: 640 Shutter Speed: 1/50s Aperture: F2.8
Posted By: Rupert, 03-24-2015, 07:54 AM

....well, with my new K5IIs! I took out the trash and found my front yard covered in these little blooms...each about 1/4 inch across...very tiny.
I sold my Kiron 105 Macro last year...thinking I was going Fuji all the way.....but with this new K5IIs I'm back in the Pentax mode...this is one fantastic camera!

Spring is here in Texas...may hit 90F here this afternoon! Gotta love it!

Best Regards! ......If you are still freezing somewhere, in a couple of weeks we will have enough heat here to heat the world and I can send you some!

That's a great effect...I seldom run my copy of the lens wide open, but you're giving me ideas...

Better than any squirrel shot you've ever taken. And if OTIS disagrees, he should let you shoot him with this lens.

Thank you all! It has been a long time since I have shot any macro shots, so I'm out of practice, but I liked this one for the color and the loveliness of the tiny blooms!

I am really liking this K5IIs.....it is a fantastic camera in so many ways. Maybe I will invest in another macro lens?

Regards!
