Beautiful colours in the last photo, love the reds. I bought this lens to replace my tamron 70 - 300 (it had bad chromatic aberrations) and I havn't even had the chance to use it yet!

I have exactly the same lens and K10D and Im must say yours is positively stunning

If I might ask whats settings do you use?

I tend to MF and use ISO200 (Cause it was a cloudy day) f8 to f16. AV mode with P-TTL HSS. This lens tends to be a bit soft in macro, so u'll need quite a bit of sharpening. As long u can get a sharp shot, with a bit of post process u can get shots like these^^

Gorgeous colours. My first reaction was, "These were done on film, surely!" Stunning clarity, smooth yet really sharp. A credit to you.

Really nice pics.

Are these insects alive when you took them if so thats really good and if not it's still really good.. very spot on...let me add on thats tack sharp...

Thx all^^ Ya they are all alive and flying around, had to chase them a little lol. these are taken handheld like all my other insect macros^^

Amazing shots, these are really captivating. The colours and movement in them are wonderful.

LOVE the butterfly and dragonfly shots. Is the dragonfly really that red?

Yes that dragonfly is very close to the color u see in the last shot^^
