Beautiful photo. I really like the effect on the rays by the small branches to the left of the main tree. Makes me want to try to replicate it

I was lucky enough to be there when the morning mist slowly faded away. But the picture needed some strengthening of the beams. Maybe I could have achieved it with a change of contrast.
But what gave me the 'little extra' I wanted was an extra layer, where a B&W version of the picture was added via gimp (overlay mode, reduced opacity).

Wonderful capture.

This reminds me of a spot I need to visit with my camera. It's a grove of planted pines...nice and open.

Awesome! This is the sort of shot I always want to capture but can never get the camera to see what my eyes see.
