K-Town
Lens: K135 2.5 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Knoxville, Tennessee ISO: 400

I took advantage of some soft Spring light to see what my recently acquired K135 2.5 can do under pretty ideal conditions. Using it as a "walk around" lens can be like balancing a broom handle on your nose, but I felt as if I owed the old gal a fairer test than the bluebird skies I'd been throwing her way lately.

Knoxville is a typical midsized city in the South, with a lot of urban landscapes sitting cheek-by-jowl:

A bit of strip-mall Purgatory:

A little urban wilderness:

Some Old Knox scruffiness:

No doubt it can be a Sahara of the Bozarks at times, but this time of year our aspirations, at least, show through

Interesting series. I did want to straighten a few of them though. A bit of Knoxville most don't see.

Ha, that's a consistent problem of mine shooting handheld--with my eyeglasses, horizontal lines at the edges of the OVF have a way of disappearing...especially when I'm also fighting a MF lens! Should be an easy cleanup in post, though.

At any rate, K'ville has a hardscrabble reputation, but it can be charming in its own way.

Aye a definite lean to the right going on here.

In so many ways...I keep waiting for a poster of PM Farage to go with my Iron Lady memorabilia.

At any rate, I'll have to learn to play my slice it appears--or leave the handheld stuff to y'all.
