My Daughters flower Garden
Posted By: Eastern Shore Charlie, 06-04-2008, 03:40 PM

My daughter planted some wild Lily's in her flower garden and wanted me to come over and take some pictures. of them. She has a green thumb...her flowers were beautiful. Shot with DFA 100 and DA 40.

I have to agree on the green thumb. The flowers are beautiful. On the other hand the photographer is quite good also. Great colors and great composition. the camera and lenses did well also.
Congrats to both you and your daughter.

Beautiful images. I really like the second shot. It would be a wonderful framed poster.

Beautiful Charlie! Ask her what her secret is. I love these, but somehow I always end up killing them. To be honest, I can only grow vegetables it seems. I grow a killer vegetable garden but for some reason my flowers are never happy. My favorite flowers are gardenias and I've been trying to grown them for almost 30 years with no sucess. I know it doesn't help that they love acidic soil and we have the most alkaline soil in the world I think.
Thanks for sharing these beauties. I really like the frame around the second shot.

Thanks Laree...My daughter has the patience and touch to grow stuff...she did not learn it from me The MD eastern shore is a farmers wonderland.....the soil is perfect for farming....the nice thing about Lily's is that they a big flower so it is easy to for me to see to focus on them.
