The Back 40

Has been in the family since 1855 and protected from development by 4 generations of my family.

While the bottom right quarter looks like rocks it's really covered with crystal clear cold spring water.
In the fall the Brook Trout come upstream to the spring, make their redd and spawn there.
For all I know the trout have been coming to this spring since the last glaciation 10000 years ago.

I think it's worth keeping it what it has always been.

Taken with a Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 at 10mm
