Macros can be useful in landscapes too, so I found out the other day when I had absolutely no choice.

The location was between Barraba and Mt Kaputar on the western margin of the New England Tablelands, NSW. Glorious evening it was (mid last week).

A plug for the 'The Playhouse' hotel in Barraba - truly awesome, quaint period hotel without the pretentious over timings that can sometimes be found in a retro joint. Well worth the stay!

Most macro lenses can do more than macro. These aren't macro shots so I've moved your thread to Post Your Photos forum. Macro Photography forum is for those close shots of macro.

Wonderful colors. Amazing what you were able to do with that lens.

You haven't really showed us anything we didn't already know:
1. Pentax makes sharp macro lenses that can focus to infinity
2. Any lens will do landscapes well - in the right hands

Well done, and thanks for sharing!
