Wow, these would be great advertising for this lens. I have been looking at this one online and this is a great help in my decision making.

That second shot with the kids is AWESOME!!! great series and thanks for sharing.

Great shots! I can't wait to visit DC again.

I also got this lens recently (yesterday!) and I can already tell it'll be on my camera 85% of the time.

Do you teach in Prince William county, or in the city? My kids attended Sudley Elementary, Stonewall MS, and Stonewall HS, and my wife is the career center coordinator at Osbourn.

Yup, I teach for PWCS. Not at any of those schools though.
I'll be teaching in Manassas next year.

Thank you for sharing these Dan. They are beautiful. I found the Vietnam War memorial so moving when I visited it took my breath away. How anyone can visit that and not be moved to tears is beyond me. I am sure it is a much different experience for a group of third graders though! I love the image of the boys looking up at the writing. Really nice work here Dan.
