Went to the lake today because it was nice... little windy but still nice. I have to say though, we have some real killer mosquitoes hanging around that lake though. (apologies for soft images, handheld @ 300mm with moving subject)
This one flew almost overhead and was traveling pretty fast. I had just enough time to get the camera set up with the new lens since I had been using the 28mm f/2.8 for landscape earlier.
A short bit later, his buddy came along.
Pilot must've been pretty cool and saw me with the camera because he circled around for another pass so I could get more pics.
Sorry for the dust spots on the lens... I didn't have time to check it out before the "mosquitoes" made their appearances.
Almost directly overhead.
Off he goes, fortunately I suffered no mosquito bites on this outing.
Now if you'll pardon me, I apparently have a lens or a sensor to clean.
