Two shots of a red geranium in the backyard. One taken with the PENTAX 18-55 WR lens and other with Sigma 105mm Macro. Can you pick the difference with 1005 certainty? These were taken about 15 minutes apart in fading afternoon light and at a slightly different angle and naturally at different distances. Both however were shot at ISO 2000, 1/80 sec at f16 and processed independently in Lightroom.
Conclusions.
The K5 IIs at ISO 2000 is stunning
The oft maligned "kit" lens does not do a bad job compared to it's highly rated companion.
