Looking for a little peace or piece.
Lens: 55-300 Pentax Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Madeira Beach Fl.

Sat outside with my morning coffee and the osprey was in the bare tree about 70 yds away. The mocking bird was giving him a hard time but he flew away after an hour of posing.---charliezap

The tree that he was on is the bare one in the middle.

I especially like how sharp the eyes are of the bird, you sure have a great place to kickback Charlie. Enjoy your vacation.

Hi Larry. We are here for vacation for the month of April. Everyday so far has been the same--upper 80's-no rain. It's nice but I prefer the change of seasons back home.--charliezap

This is a great set of photos, Capn. I'm glad you're enjoying your vacation, and when you get home, Saugus will be coming into the prime of spring! You're a lucky man.

Great series Charlie. Strange to see that osprey without a fish in it's talons. The mockingbird was a fantastic addition. Hope you aren't getting any of this cold spell that hit suddenly yesterday. Lots of rain, damp, cold, and just plain ugly.

Thanks Jer. This is Summer weather here in Florida with above normal temps for this time of year. We are looking forward to a great Spring-Summer back home after this warm weather tuneup.--capn zap

It doesn't hurt when you're shooting at 1/400 sec with the camera's anti-shake working.--charliezap
