Ridin' the Stage
Photo Location: Sedona, Arizona
Posted By: Bob Harris, 04-25-2015, 02:36 PM

an old shot from years back I found while deleting files. I know there are a lot of old Western fans on PF and I thought this represented the time period. Photo taken in red rock country, Sedona Arizona.

Great shot, Bob. There's no way to tell what year that was taken (apart from the EXIF, of course!).

Wonder what type of suspension they had on those things? Bet it was a rough ride.

Beautiful shot. A little bittersweet because Sedona has become so heavily developed.

One time my mother & I were watching a western, and I mentioned that I thought stagecoaches were so awesome. She told me my dad, at the age of 16, drove a stagecoach, with a team of 6 horses, in Colorado!!!! How cool is that?

That's a great photo, reminded me of this story!

that would be a lot of fun Kyle, unless Jesse James came riding up.

It is sort of a timeless shot Ray now that I think about it. Thanks for the kind words.

It's such a beautiful place to live, great climate too. We never go into town during the weekends, too many tourists.

what a great memory and thrill to be able to drive a team of 6. I can't imagine even harnessing that many.
