Hand Held Macro - Squared
Posted By: xs400, 06-07-2008, 11:51 AM

I got this shot using the Pentax-A 50/2.8 macro. A bug walking on my hand. So in this case both the bug and camera were hand held. This is a 100% crop.

Great capture there. Does it sting? How come it manages to stay on your palm!

That wouldn't want to be his palm with all those hairs on it. Well you'd hope not

This is a great capture for a double hand-held macro ... I am impressed ... the detail is sharp indeed.

That's funny. But this guy was on the back of my hand.

Nice capture Fank. If you do this macro stuff long enough you are bound to attract
such beasts

Here is one that was annoying me last year.

I have been know to attract flies sometimes. I need to carry my macro lens with me more often.

And that is a nice great of a fly. Nice capture.

Those are two great insect macros. Thanks for sharing!

Been snapping similar this last week, though none have chosen to land on me. In the case of aphids I sure am glad:

Another here with the Vivitar Series 1 105mm, a relatively new acquisition I'm trying to get the hang of:
