A few Hummingbirds ;-)

All with *ist DS and Polaris 55-300mm @ f8, 300mm and manual external flash.

Really nice shots here. #1 and #3 are my favorites. Sorry to pick on #2 though. Just couldn't see enough of it's wing in the foreground.

Those are superb shots, the second one does lose the wings against the dark background but still.. all are extremely good.

Wow very nice. Did'nt think we would see any hummingbird shots again until summe. (well, summer in the USA)

Thank you. Well I have this older flash Kalimar TW 3600 and I set it to max output. I set the lens to 300mm and F8 or F11. The camera in M Mode at ISO 200 to 400. The rest is a little luck and a bit of adjustments in the Post Processing. Here a pic of my Current "Hummingbird Setup"
