Bug season has been open for a while now..... · **1 Like**

.....but I didn't have much time to take advantage of it, now things have settled down a bit and here are a few of really small critters. All with the DFA 2.8 100mm plus 48mm ext. tubes plus around 50% cropped.

Metaphid Jumping spider with prey

Western Harvester Ant

Unidentified small spider

Black Fly (Orthocladius)

Remarkable images! There's an extraordinary amount of DOF in the ant photos. The detail and sharpness is flawless. The "top knot" on the black fly is very bizarre!
