Dang these are amazingly clean and sharp. Great dof at f11 too. I see by the exif that you used flash. But the images look like natural light. That is the sign of someone who really knows how to use flash well!

LaRee it's good to hear from you again. There are lots of tricks that I have learned over that past thirty years with flashes. The one thing that I try to do is keep it really, really simple. A hotshoe mounted flash with a double opal glass diffuser over the flash window. Then, when possible, I balance the flash with ambient sunlight so that the sun fills in a good portion of the shadow. The other trick is to make sure there is nothing immediately behind the subject so that the shadow falls off the image before striking the bacground. It doesn't always work, but I try
