That's because I don't pay any attention to their growing needs.
Originally posted by Igilligan What a great trip thru your garden. Our cameras seem to love the green/purple/blues of the world. That first bloom is spot on. But, being a bug hunter myself, I love the macros. The spider and damsel really are my faves.
I have not got a decent shot of the bees this year, either they are getting faster or I have lost a step/click... but yours make me what to go try today..
Thanks Gus. It takes a few outtings with the lens each year before one gets into shape to get the faster moving bugs. Then again, we are getting older and I know that I have lost a step or two.

Jay,
I do believe that all of these images were all taken with the Sigma 180. Occasionally, like some images I may post tonight, I use my SMC 645 120mm/4 macro adapted to the K20D.
I like the 180 and 120 lenses. The only problem with the 120 is that it is stop down manual which make focusing quite difficult at smaller f/stops. Other than that it is a wonderful lens and rediculously sharp and seems to make the transition from 645 to digital really nicely. Wish they had an adapter that allowed open aperature metering.
