Cades Cove

Some scenes from Cades Cove. The drive can be excruciatingly long if there is someone in front of you driving 5 mph and stopping in the middle of the road instead of pulling off to the side. But, that being said, there is always something to see.

Now Cades Cove I remember - even in my advancing years. These are so nice - I especially the glade (if that's the right word) in the third one. It has a magical look - you almost expect an elf to make an appearance.

Thanks Charlie. One of the few times I had to lay down for the shot and Ray almost left me on the ground. Old bones are hard to move around.

Thanks Jim. We are only five hours away from this part of the park and it is sooooooo much nicer than the Gatlinburg area.
