Meet Ben
Posted By: Tyler, 06-08-2008, 06:56 PM

I was shooting some dirt jumping in the woods behind a friends house and snapped a few shots in between the jumps. I would like to know what you guys think of these. They were lit by an sb-800 camera right on 1/4power and af-360 camera left on 1/4 as well. The Af-360 was more directional and set up for the jump so it kinda missed Ben on these a bit, but oh

The lighting is quite dramatic and well balanced for the conditions.

The left image, while technically fine, does nothing to invite the viewer in. The second image is dramatic and very engaging. It is an image that demands attention even if you don't know the guy. Nice work.

Lighting is excellent, I would not realize flash was used unless you mentioned.
