Baseball Cap
Posted By: code4code5, 06-08-2008, 11:08 PM

I've been "commissioned" to do some product photography for a coworkers side business. I've got some methods in mind for doing shirts and such, but what do you think of the baseball cap? I wanted to get under it to show the sweatband, so I used a wire hanger through the eyelet at the back of the hat, routed it around and back through another eyelet, then placed both ends of the hanger into holes I drilled into a 4x4.

Well it positions it to get the job done. The dark hat vs the white background makes exposing to actually see naything a bit hard. What you want visible is visible, but you can't see it very well.

Maybe try a neutral background color that isn't quite so bright.

Yeah, not obvious that it's a sweat band to me.
