One my "parting shots" after a long cold day of sightseeing at the Inner Harbour in Victoria. That's one of the wings of the famed Empress Hotel behind the tree. I thought this tree, devoid of leaves, made an interesting counterpoint to the hotel's brick walls that was highlighted by the setting sun. I applied blurring and sharpening and lastly selectively desaturated the colours to get this rather unusual scene.
