Just keeping it simple.
Lens: 18-250 Pentax Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8

Usually when I set out to photograph my little buddy I'll use one of my better lenses. He was quite active as darkness was just about there.I grabbed the camera with the Pentax 18-250(work horse) lens and stood less than 2ft from the feeder and grabbed this shot with the K5II's on board flash.--charliezap

Very nice "grab shot" Charlie, that 18-250 is a very decent lens for a long zoom. I really like the PP work as well.

Yep, I agree, great shot! Otis was looking over my shoulder and commented that "it's just another useless bird wasting oxygen and eating available food.....can't Charlie ever shoot some handsome squirrels?"

That's when I reminded him that Charlie has no time to shoot squirrels, he runs a Giant Corporation producing the finest Squirrel Helper on earth!

You guys need to try some, it makes even an old tough squirrel like Otis into a tasty tender meal! The "Rupert" version is my favorite.....spicy but not too hot...just right.

Regards!....I think I've seen the last of Otis for today!

Thanks all--Imagine the shots that I would get if the HB's never let up at the feeder.I have one or two that show up ever 20 minutes or so and I'm thankful for that.--charliezap
