Thanks Rob! The shadows were a bit harsh, but that was the way the light was that day.

Did he get any of your sandwich? Good shot with that harsh lighting.

Thanks Charlie! The DA*300 is better (and would want to be for the price) but not as portable or versatile. My current travel kit generally consists of the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and the DA 55-300. About the only other lens I'd like for some situations is a wider zoom.

You always capture Birds very well and this is no exception.
