Shooting Birds is popular in this forum...
Lens: Sigma 18-250 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Takayama Japan ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F6.7

so I thought I have to give it a go.

In Takayama I came across these women, I pointed my camera at them gesturing that I would like to take a picture. Don't know why, there was no reason.

There was an immediate reaction of encouragement, the result of which can be seen here. I took one shot, we all had a good laugh, I thanked them and went on my way and they went on theirs.

Street photography can be fun.

Taken just outside a Sake brewery, maybe it had something to do with that.

I quite sure I don't know what you mean... most Bird images here on the forum seem to involve the use of 300mm.

You don't need a 300mm if you know your craft.

Now go forth and provide us with a photo of Scottish lassies similar to this one. You may have to summon all your charms to succeed as I know from experience Scottish lassies are a bit more reserved.

(Tip: leave your 300mm at home they may misinterpret your intend !)

Wow that mid-day sun looks harsh, but the composition is good.

Yes, and not much time for adjustments, one shot and that's it.

Thanks for commenting.
