Commercial Shoot
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 05-17-2015, 09:07 AM

Just to show a couple of images from a recent shoot for a local garage, taken on my "old" Pentax kit.

Both taken on a K20D with my "Good Lady” (SMC Pentax-A 20mm F2.8).

Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side of those vehicles? It makes it really easy to parallel park, but trying to see if the opposing lane is free to pass (oops - overtake) is really hard.

lol, what I noticed immediately was the rack of Light (as in only one light) on top of the vehicles as opposed to a rack of lights like I want so very much for Elizabeth the Jeep. The cloud reflection in the window is kinda cool!

These are known as fox lights over here, they are moveable and are used at night to target the prey for shooting.

They are on the correct side, yours are wrong!
Regards.

Nicely done. The vehicles really 'pop' in the photographs. I would think that your client was very pleased with these excellent photographs.

I don't have a K20D, but do have it's predecessor, the K10D. It was my first Digital SLR and at 100 ISO I'm still impressed with the quality that my faithful old beast can churn out. Had it since 2007, thousands of shutter actuations and it's still (touch wood) working fine.

I still have one of those too, it produces a special kind of image from it's CCD sensor that you just don't get from the CMOS.
