Warm and muggy in your part of the world? I find that hard to believe.

It does get warm here in the summer, I know it's hard to believe for those who haven't been here, but Tess is already complaining about the heat.

Excellent, especially the one with the red and yellow blooms (obviously I'm not a botanist).

The red and yellow ones are in the garden, (most of those images are wild plants) and I don't know their name either,. Fortunately I don't need to know their name to take their picture.

Thanks Dewman, I'd point out that all were taken using AF and the K-3's 27 AF points, but I'd hate to upset any of the MF guys. I do think you can learn where you want to focus with AF points more easily than you can focus manually, but it seems to go against the wisdom of some contributors.

I don't really care about going "against the grain" one little bit if I can get sharpness like you've achieved in this series! I've been kicking the idea around about switching from a K-50 to a K-3, but.... hmmm.... dang it, my K-50 isn't quite a year old yet! But, I continue to see all the magnificent photos that you guys have been posting that were shot with the K-3s and it sure is tempting! (sigh!)
