I haven't posted much of late but I was inspired by mole's series on Spring birds.

This female Cardinal isn't as sharp as I would like but she seems to belong in this setting.

The background is definetly complimentary. I also really like the bird's pose in both shots: nicely framed to have a strong diagonal lines.
