It was getting tedious making a new thread for every trip to the lake, and I was being SUPER lazy over the last week. So what we have here is a compilation of the best images I took between 05/15 and 05/24, 2015. Lens used will be mentioned under each image, as I swapped lenses a few times during all the trips. All images are SOOC jpegs or cropped from SOOC jpegs.

Sorry Otis, here in PA, the squirrels are MY minions... I've subjugated them, uprisings are dealt with via flying assassins (eagles/owls/hawks/osprey... or shot and eaten for dinner). Taken using Super Takumar 200 f/4.

You can hide, but I'll find you. Taken with Super Takumar 200 f/4.

Seaguls.... in a land-locked county in BFE, PA.... go figure. Also taken with the Super Takumar 200 f/4.

Macro fun with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DA AL WR kit lens.

More macro fun with the kit lens.

The Super Tak 200 f/4 has been getting quite a workout lately with birds.

Another bird shot with the Super Takumar 200 f/4.

I must've done something wrong somewhere.... I got this nice dreamy/hazy early evening picture using the Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4, but for whatever reason a gorgeous model never appeared in the final exposure... hmm... oh well.

I'm still a bit stumped... Taken with Super Takumar 200mm f/4.

They were all the way across the lake... I was on a picnic table bench over 100 ft from shore.... guesstimated distance: 1/2 mile. Taken with the Super Takumar 200mm f/4. Also, that pontoon boat is seriously overloaded... folks, please remember to obey the occupancy limits for your watercraft... for safety.

Taken with Super Takumar 200mm f/4 at a distance of about 45 ft. Handheld.

Got their friend, too. Rough distance: 52 ft. Handheld using Super Takumar 200mm f/4.

Well, there you have it folks. This week's been a bit busy for sure.... now if only there had been fewer people around scaring off the wildlife... Now it's time to go xpost like crazy in other threads....

Lol.... we're so far out in BFE, that we don't even count as suburbia. Even the closest walmart is about 18 mi. The lake is about the same distance. Love going out there but it costs me a small fortune in gas every year (plus the extra mileage on the car).
