The closest so far. There is always a movement of the web because orbs love open spaces.

They are such weird looking guys. You really managed to capture them perfectly. Good job.

Spiny orbs are fascinating creatures. So colorful, and it's so difficult to look into their eyes
Hopefully I can get better pictures with Tamron SP 90mm. My 50mm 1x is too close to the web to get more details. Orbs don't like that, and it's hard to be careful not disturbing their web.

We used to call them Christmas spiders because they always appeared around that time of the year but I haven't seen any for years now.

They are harmless, non toxic to humans. And they are not aggressive.
I think they are beautiful

I found the video on youtube, that's pretty much how spider web is moving most of the time.
