does anyone use this ringflash,as i am thinking of getting one to put on the front of my old 100mm pentax macro lens

Just to side step on the current Pentax version, I have just bought a right lash of yong nuo type, only manual mode but it allows for both vsriable flash power on tube a n b, that makes it an affordable cost but without af or pttl

Makes sense. Light is light (shaping aside. PTTL, TTL, whatever are just means to reduce errors "on the fly" when you cant take the time/ have a studio to control the results...
