Bluebells are protected here in the wild and this is a little bit tucked away in the woods too.

I think you Brits have a quota to meet or they kick you out of the guild or something...

At any rate, this is really one I'm going to study: between the portrait orientation and the short tele used on a "wide angle" foreground (not to mention expert framing) you're bringing something new to the party.

I will admit I started off with the "Mistress" then the "Good Lady" but neither gave me the density of Blue(bell) I wanted, hence I finished up using the "Special Lady".

But of course...

I'm pleased to be able to do something new just once in a while.

Spoken like a true Scots laird...

At any rate, I've seen American 'togs tackle similar scenes with a tele+pano+focus stack, but I think the perspective of your FL is more natural--besides, there's a point where "technical" photography doesn't seem to mesh with the spirit of trooping 'cross hill and dale (unless, of course, one is being paid.)

I love the depth of colour - the green and blue - makes me want to go for a walk!

Thanks for that, believe it not... I even used a colorchecker passport to ensure that I got the correct colour for the Bluebells.

Is that when your coming over, sadly I doubt it... they're good for a couple of weeks or so more.
