In with the New..........

,,,,,Out with the Old. I used the 18-250mm Sigma lens to check the macro end, not bad just for a handheld shot at close distance.

Some of the telescopic lenses can produce good results up close.

I'll just stick with the dedicated macro EM, but not bad for a walk around lens. This is Pinky, our new traveling plant this year, it's a small tea rose that blooms quite often, so it's fun to travel with.

It's much easier to care for than an animal and it doesn't wake us in the am to take a pee.

When we hit the road fulltime ten years back we decided not to get any animals to travel with us because it is just unfair to them to leave them locked up in the motorhome as we travel to other locations in the Jeep. So we decided each year to "adopt" a plant of some type, raise it for about 10 months and donate to an elder care facility to be enjoyed by others. Many of our past plants have traveled through 30 or more states and thousands of miles, always giving us the pleasure of their growth and blooms.
