Python @ Perth Zoo
Lens: Super-Takumar 135mm f2.5 Camera: Fuji X-E1 Photo Location: Perth, Wester Australia ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F4
Posted By: Dean Bradshaw, 06-06-2015, 03:53 AM

A Python at Perth Zoo photographed today, 6th June 2015.
Trying out a recently acquired Super-Takumar 135mm f2.5. The lens is in great condition and was obviously well used and loved by the original owner, with plenty of brassing on the Auto/Manual switch and focus ring.
This guy was shot at minimum focus distance then a mild crop, behind glass in the Reptile House.
Cheers
Dean

Thanks very much for the comment Canis.
I'm strictly amateur and wouldn't say a great evaluator or lenses, but the Super Takumar 135mm f/2.5 seems to live up to the reviews.
Cheers

Hi redcat
Right idea, but different guy
I see this Dean Bradshaw is based on the West Coast...USA.
I'm also on the West Coast...but other side of the planet! I live in Perth, Western Australia. Thankfully I don't think I'll ever need a photography web site based on my name, otherwise there'll be constant confusion
Cheers
