OK, I'm back from my morning drive... I hoped to see more, but I did get some images.
DA*50-250. ƒ4, 200 ISO

Snapping turtle.

Canada Geese and goslings

Northern Raven

The black flies were so bad, I actually got harried out of a couple of images....once you've swallowed 2 or 3 flies, you tend to head to the car.

haha I hear that Norm we are not on Survivor no need for extra protein. The turtle is cool never see them here. Nice shot of the Raven they are so black it's hard to get a good shot of them. I am immune to geese and goslings shots , then dominate the area here as well but it is a fine representation.

You'll never convince anyone from Chicago that those particular Canadians are cute. They are a real pest down there. It's not the geese so much as their exhaust ...

But , but, but... I'm from Chicago, technically....
Toronto is the same way. But, we have things you guys don't... predators. These young ones will have foxes wolves, weasels and bears, racoons, snapping turtles, golden and bald eagles, some of the lager owls to contend with until they reach adult size, and I'm guessing the wolves will be an issue, eagles and owls will be an issue even when they are adults. We have all those things living around here.

The snapper on the top picture would be real happy to catch one of those cute little guys in the image below it.

I'm not, I'm a Canuck, but I worked there from 2000-2004. You couldn't walk on the grass in the industrial parks. Well, you could, but they wouldn't let you back in the building with your shoes on.
