Am learning the art of deciding whether a subject makes more sense in colour or in black and white. Please help by giving me comments on which of these three you like best and why? Thanks so much.

The third one, because the contrast makes it interesting. The background on the first one is too bland, though the image overall is okay. The second one looks wrong somehow...

The first one. I feel the image needs color.

I prefer #3.

I might like #1 the best if it was adjusted a bit. Maybe brighten the green channel or adjust overall exposure?

#2 has an unnatural glow to it, especially on the upper edge of the leaf.

1 and then 3. Iike the colors on one, just the greens and browns. #3 I like to dark against the light background
