Took these while literally waiting for paint to dry at our new house in South Knoxville. So far, it's a typical wooded lot filled with "succession species" on the edges: elm, mulberry, invasive amur honeysuckle and ubiquitous poison ivy:
I do have high hopes of returning it to a more natural state: a quick inventory turned up yellow trillium, false Solomon's Seal, and these Indian Pink's (just about to "pop")
but it's going to take a little "better living through chemistry"--not to mention a brush-ax--to set things aright this fall.
