Lens: See description Camera: K-5 II Photo Location: Milan and Lake Como, Italy

As mentioned before here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/12-post-your-photos/297575-black-white-tr...#ixzz3d2yNrxDv, I did a short trip to Milan and Lake Como with my K-5 II and a set of Takumars (28mm, 50mm and 135mm) complemented by the DA 21mm and 70mm Limited lenses. While the earlier thread was all B&W, here are some shots in colour, but still in square format. This time only the S-M-C Takumar 135mm is participating, with the rest from the Limited lenses.

An interesting city that's still on my list.

I always imagined it to be far busier or have you just shown the quite bits.

That's a good set of photos, nice tight framings and with a focal point. I especially appreciate the well controlled exposures (ie not overexposed, which would be so easy to do ).

Thank you for the kind words! Although I mostly shoot in manual mode with spot metering, when using the Takumars I preferred AV mode and centre-averaged metering, much of the time with a -1/2 correction and low ISO. If needed I raised the exposure during raw processing.

That's a sensible approach in these conditions for sure .....each scene has a pre-dominant mid / low mid toned basis with small patches of brighter highlight.
