Tabletop Foray
Posted By: Bramela, 06-11-2008, 09:07 PM

Due to very wet weather, its been impossible to get out of doors, so I decided to have a bit of a playround with Tabletop photography.
PP'd to final result.
*PLEASE NOTE I am no artist (couldn't draw my breath) so not that unhappy with result, considering.

Thanks for the interest.
I assure you, was only done for a bit of fun, to fill a bit of a wet afternoon.

Looks like fun to me Bruce, and a good way to fill in the time on a wet afternoon. I'd be playing with this image with different painting effects if it were mine. I bet it would look really neat.

I don't know if it was ever shown in Australia but your pic reminds me of a cartoon that used to be shown in the UK; Captain Pugwash - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Unintentional I know but thanks for the nostalgia.

Thanks, DamnBritt, at least I have acheived something.
I did some rather imaginative artwork on the original, as suggested by LaRee. I am not very adept at it, but thought a 'Canvas Artwork' look maybe be interesting.
Anny C & C welcome. Please remember it was all done as a bit of fun
The ship is a model about 10 inches long. Stands on a purpose built stand. Sea painted in to cover stand., Background is a blue wall which fortunately was just about the right colour with clouds, waves etc all added through PP.
Viewed at about 6 feet from monitor it doesn't look TOOOOO bad!!!
