Le Mans 2015 trip

just back from annual trip to the 24 hour race at Le Mans. Fantastic event as usual, but realised fairly quickly that my 55-300DA would be out of it's depth, and I need to look at something around 500mm for the future...

Well you may need a longer lens but the shots you did take are very good. An event that I always wanted to attend but have never gotten the chance.

Impressive shots...like # 1 and 2 particularly. If you used the 55-300 for those pix...it looks like it came through well.

Good shooting. I'm jealous that you got to go and I didn't! I did get to see the Cobra Daytona at the Nurburgring back in the '60s. I've always wanted to stand along the Mulsanne in the middle of the night and just listen.

A superlative series of great photos!

I've always wanted to see this race and would have loved to have been there this year given the results.

You might *want* a longer lens but your shots show that you did well with what you had Great pictures.
