As I looked over this, I was like "How cool, an old retro bike". Then I saw the carb, and noticed the aluminium, then I noticed the engine, spark plug and the like.
Very cool that people are making new-retro bikes like this!!!

I don't know if the word Sterling is a variant on the word Stirling, but I believe the bike has a Stirling engine--which is theoretically the most efficient heat engine possible. This is the major reason for so much interest in this type of engine.

That engine looks like a standard Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Lifan 50-250cc clone/knock off.
An Air-cooled single/thumper, regular wet clutch, and with all the standard bits.

Nicely finished bike. Nice pix.

I have a few old motorcycles. One in a '67 Matchless G15CS Scrambler. It's still the way it came from the Matchless factory way back when. It has the original Norton 750cc Atlas twin...the skid plate, original Lyta gas tank, etc. I prefer stock....as in original factory vintage bikes. But at the same time as we used to say...different strokes for different folks. We all have our preferences and there's room for all.

I think the engine is based a Honda CG125 with a different cylinder head and barrel. These machines are made in Italy and the one in the photo retails for 7500 here in the UK which ain't cheap but I agree it looks so cool
