My First Flashed Hummer
Posted By: Igilligan, 06-12-2008, 02:36 PM

So this years hummers are few and far between. And they only seem to show up when the feeder is in the late evening shade of the house. So I used my Old vivitar 3500 flash that I just got, to try and light them up a bit...
These were my first attempts... I have now figured out better flash and camera settings but for two days have not seen hide nor feather of the little guys...

The last is the turtle from the local pond... usually out everyday for lunch but also has been missing the last few days...

All with the tamron 70-300 handheld...
