A few of the milky way
Lens: 16-85 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Near Quebec city ISO: 4000 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F3.5

I shot a few pictures of the Milky Way in the darkest location I've ever been to. so dark that focus was impossible to perform, and since the 16-85 has no distance scale, things were not as easy as I'd have wished. The image with the trees in particular is a little bit blurred but I'm still happy with the composition. Comments welcome!

And a little bonus one from the lakes where we went fishing!

I like that second picture, the one with the lake and the orange light on the horizon. Well done!

I do too. I thinks it's very cool.

Thanks!

Imagine, that glow is from a large town (or small city) about 150km in a straight line from me.

Excellent! We each got our maximum quotas each day. Smallish trouts (to be expected in that area) but plenty of them!
