I know ducks are boring, but FINALLY I got a hand-held photo in focus and reasonably sharp, so...

I like ducks, so I don't find them "boring" at all,

They would be sharper if you bumped the ISO so your corresponding shutter speed would be higher.

luftfluss: glad I’m not the only one who likes ducks. I’ve started collecting ducks on stamps, so I agree they’re not boring!

And thanks for the advice. I’m kind of obsessed with shooting at the lowest possible ISO, and I thought the view finder said 1/60, which I guess still would have been too slow for the situation. I’ll try using ISO 200 - 400 next time.
