Nice shot of that PV444.

Years ago, when I was attending University, I had a '62 Volvo PV 544 with the B18s engine....twin carbs, etc. Same car as the PV 44...just a later model and with some changes. Bigger engine, 4 speed standard, etc. It was a great car, good acceleration for it's time, very good handling and braking . It also had perhaps the most accurate shifter and sweetest clutch of any car/truck I've had and or driven.

I have many fond memories of my early Euro sports sedan...the PV 544.

I also had a Volvo once, a Volvo 240, a wonderful car. No problems, a very solid driveline, but it needed a lot of gasoline.
