Nice shot. With an MGB beside it too (Nostalgic sigh - I used to have an MGB.)

Oh dear really showing my age now... remember these going better in straight lines rather than round corners and that was in the dry too.

What a cool car! Was it parked near the Volvo?

Used to drive one--the '63 E-type. It belonged to my boyfriend. Since I was racing Formula Vs for his shop, he let me have the "E" for fun. Of course it didn't have the synchromesh yet, so one had to double-clutch. What a beautiful car--the soft-top (convertible) was much prettier than the hard top shown, which always seemed "too tall" to me and rather gawky. On the highway, you could wind it out and at some point, you felt like if you pulled back on the steering wheel that that long nose would rise into the air and take flight. It wasn't squirrely or anything, just smooth and powerful (V-12!) and easy to love if you could keep it running--the joke back then was that you had to have two of them--one to drive while the other was in the shop. Thanks for the picture. Very nostalgic for me.
